A Natural Born Leader

from terrifics
Control is not leadership; management is not leadership; leadership is leadership. If you seek to lead, invest at least 50% of your time in leading yourself—your own purpose, ethics, principles, motivation, conduct. Invest at least 20% leading those with authority over you and 15% leading your peers."

— Dee Hock
This quote is what being a leader means to me. Leadership is basically not that you have all the control and makes the rules, but it is about listening to others around and making decisions that is right for the whole group. I have taken on many leadership roles such as
  1. Junior Reserved Officer Training Corps (JROTC)- In this class I was an Officer a Cadet First Lieutenant and my job was to make sure that the enlisted cadets were out in formation ready to execute the commands. I was also responsible for making sure that their uniforms were in check and that they were dressed appropriately for the class.
2.Jump Start Program- This was a program held at my high school for the upcoming freshmen. With this I was responsible for taking them on a tour around the school showing them the different parts, talking to them about the activities that they can join when they enter high school, and just to help them out with classwork.

3.Mr. 11th Grade- This is when I won the tittle as Mr. 11th grade for my small school.
