A Natural Born Leader
from terrifics |
— Dee Hock
This quote is what being a leader means to me. Leadership is basically not that you have all the control and makes the rules, but it is about listening to others around and making decisions that is right for the whole group. I have taken on many leadership roles such as
- Junior Reserved Officer Training Corps (JROTC)- In this class I was an Officer a Cadet First Lieutenant and my job was to make sure that the enlisted cadets were out in formation ready to execute the commands. I was also responsible for making sure that their uniforms were in check and that they were dressed appropriately for the class.
3.Mr. 11th Grade- This is when I won the tittle as Mr. 11th grade for my small school.
Community Service
Community service to me is not just about earning hours, but it is about helping others overcome obstacles or just putting a smile upon some one face. In the years I have took part in many community service projects such as
2. HOSA Blood Drive- This was a blood drive that my school held and I was the person who would go around and look for the people to give blood and make sure that they were taken care of properly after giving blood.
3. JROTC Empty Stocking Funds- This was when I went on a field trip to a warehouse that was filled with toys and people who could not afford the toys. I would be in the back gathering the toys that was on the list and then go and give them to the family who needed them.
4. Jump Start Program- This was an summer program that was held at my high school for the upcoming freshmen and I was responsible for making sure that the students knew their way around the school and get them ready for high school.
5. Yearbook- In yearbook I was responsible for 3 spreads and had to make sure they was done properly and correctly so it can go into the yearbook.
6. Stone Mountain Clean Up- This is when I went to Stone Mountain Park with a program called UpwardBound and I help clean up parts of the park that had plants that needed to be removed to a different locations. So i would go pick up trees and pull plants that looked different and remove them.

The Story Behind The Future Sports Medicne Doctor!
from smiley face |
Every since I was a young boy my passion was to help others. Helping others made me feel valuable because I knew that I just put a smile on some one face. The passion for helping others made me come to the career choice of my dreams. My dream is to become a Sports Medicine Physician. This came to me because I was thinking to myself how can I help others get a second shot at life and the things they love to do. Then i thought to myself, athletes are always getting injured and some do not even go back to play sports. Then that is where I come in at. I can be that person to say I was the one who helped this athlete get a second shot at his/her career. I hope to work for a professional sports team no matter what sport it is. I plan to take my career international also and who know who ever is reading this or future athletes reading this I might be working with you one day!!

Running With The Bulldogs (University of Georgia)
from oaevansville.com |
1. I searched schools that offered majors, programs, and/or degrees in Sports Medicine and/or Physical Therapy.
2. Then when I seen the list of schools I choose a school from the state I would like to study which was from New York, California, Georgia, or Florida.
3. I seen the University of Georgia as on the schools and it seemed interested. Then I went to the website of University of Georgia Sports Medicine and seen the information. University of Georgia Sports Medicine
4. I then requested information about the University of Georgia from admissions and days later I received hand outs and a brochure from University of Georgia.
This how I came to the decision of University of Georgia as a college choice and plus the campus is nice. I will be running with the bulldogs sooner than later!
